Narrative Description of the Project:
This assignment was undertaken by the Resilience, Entrepreneurship, and Livelihood Improvement (RELI) Project under the Social Development Foundation (SDF), Ministry of Finance funded by the World Bank. This project aimed to improve the livelihoods of the poor and extremely poor, enhance their resilience, and support rural entrepreneurship in project areas. Under this project IPTM was conducted an assignment during January 2023 in Cumilla, Bangladesh, and the total number of 50 participants received training in 02 (two) batches under this assignment. The main objective of the assignment was to strengthen the communication and facilitation skills of the staff of SDF and ensure collectiveness in their working place, identify and solve problems, learn, make decisions, and handle conflict situations for SDF.
Key Activities:
- Inception meeting with SDF officials and submitted inception report.
- Conducted Training Need Assessment (TNA)
- Designed and developed a training materials for a 5-day long training on Communication and Facilitation Skills Development
- Conducted the 2 batches of 5-day long “Communication and Facilitation Skills Development” training for 25 participants in each batch in Cumilla.
- Arranged the training venue and accommodation for the training.
- All Logistic Support (Training venue and accommodation) and management.
- Conducted training pre & post assessment.
- Submitted final report to SDF.
