Workshop in Dhaka for Disseminating the Study Results, and Future Work Plan in Connection with the ‘Technical Feasibility Study and ESIA of Embankment-cum-Road and Water Management System for Economic Zone-4 at Moheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar’ under BWDB

Narrative Description of the Project:

The Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) is government agency responsible for improving management and sustainable development of the country's water resources. Develop sustainable development in the fields of agriculture, fisheries, forest etc. by tackling adverse effects of flood, drought, water logging, international river flow, salinity, climate change and the proper management of natural environment. By increasing the knowledge and capability of the people by ensuring financial support, social justice, gender fairness and environmental awareness, they can plan and manage water resources for their own good use through public participation. Under this client IPTM was awarded to full arrangement a workshop in Dhaka.

 

The main objective of the assignment was to arrangement a workshop in Dhaka for disseminating the study results, and future work plan in connection with the ‘Technical Feasibility Study and ESIA of Embankment-cum-Road and Water Management System for Economic Zone-4 at Sonadia-Ghotibhanga Islands, Moheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar under Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), Ministry of Water Resources from June to July 2019 in Dhaka. Under this workshop a total 75 participants was attended.
