Narrative Description of the Project:

IPTM, organized an enlightening study tour program for the Gazipur City Corporation (GCC), on 'Road Infrastructure Asset Management' that spanned the picturesque landscapes of France and Italy. This program was specifically designed to bolster the construction efforts aimed at enhancing the internal roadways, drainage systems, and footpaths within Zones 1-5 of the Gazipur City Corporation Project, under Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives. A total 10 (ten) participants had the privilege of immersing themselves in this valuable training experience, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to the development and upkeep of vital urban infrastructure. The duration of this assignment was from June-September 2019.

• Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
• Health and travel insurance assistance
• Pre-departure formalities

• Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport
• Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
• Orientation to the course / program
• Arrangement of expert-led lecture session
• Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
• Sightseeing and cultural tours
• Monitoring and evaluation of the program
