Narrative Description of the Project:
IPTM recently conducted a significant short-Term Training Program entitled 'Advanced Technology of Floating Agriculture' in the picturesque Netherlands. The primary aim of this program was to foster research, extension, and the widespread adoption of innovative techniques for vegetable and spice cultivation on floating beds, particularly focusing on the BARI-Part (Bangladesh Agriculture Research Institute) project. This initiative, which operates under the purview of the Ministry of Agriculture in Bangladesh, holds great promise for bolstering agricultural sustainability in the region. Notably, this program witnessed active participation from 10 dedicated individuals who enthusiastically embraced the advanced farming technologies shared during this enlightening training program. The duration of that assignment was from May-August 2019.
