Narrative Description of the Project:
The Bangladesh Safe Food Authority (BFSA), which was established under the Food Ministry in 2015 following the ‘Safe Food Act 2013, operates various activities to ensure safe food for consumers throughout the year. Their activities include mobile courts, monitoring drives, talk shows, round table meetings, road shows, led-caravan road shows, grading, training, seminars, and workshops with the participation of all concerned organizations.
To achieve these goals, IPTM had operated the Caravan Road Show with the slogan "Safe Food for Life and Health Protection,” aim to create awareness about safe food in the 60 Upazilas across the country from October 2020 to February 2021. BFSA and IPTM jointly organized the road show, marking the 100th birth anniversary of Mujib Barsho and targeting a reaching mass people in Bangladesh. The awareness programs was held at 60 Upazilas and different populated and important areas of the district, Upazilas level, according to a press release. Total 21,000 leaflet of safe food IEC materials were distributed to 60 Upazilas. As part of the campaign, IPTM was provided hygiene products, leaflets, and masks, as well as various guidelines on safe food among beneficiaries at the Upazilas level.

- LED Caravan road show and other logistic arrangement
- Upazilas wise program arrangement and also circulated hygiene products, leaflets, and masks, as well as various guidelines on safe food IEC materials
- Arranged seminar at 60 Upazilas
- Disseminated the knowledge of food safety among to the mass people and to the food vendors at 60 Upazilas
- Broadcast the news of the program in Electronic and Digital print media
