The PKSF has undertaken the ‘Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE)’ Project in February 2022 jointly financed by the World Bank and PKSF. The project main aims are to train young micro-entrepreneurs in urban and peri-urban communities in selected areas of Bangladesh in business management and entrepreneurship development. Technical skills development training will be delivered in a participatory manner to help MEs enhance their business management capabilities. To achieve this purpose recently, IPTM and PKSF signed a contract to develop four training modules under this assignment during April to July 2024.
The overall objective of this assignment is to develop technical training manuals of different sectoral business management training manuals for young MEs engaged in broad sectors and conducting ToF on those modules. (1) Ready-Made Garments (RMG); (2) Leather Goods and Footwear; (3) Construction; and (4) Light Engineering under the Business Management and Entrepreneurship Development training program. Under this assignment total 260 participants (PKSF and PO’s staff) will be receiving the ToF.
Key Activities:
- Inception meeting with project authority
- Collected project documents, existing module collections, and conduct desk reviews.
- Develop a detailed methodology and work plan.
- Submission of the Inception Report
- Developed tools for data collection to find gap in skills
- Finalize data collection tools and prepare a field mobilization plan.
