PKSF has undertook the ‘Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE)’ Project in February 2022 jointly financed by the World Bank and PKSF. The main aim is to enhance the capabilities of both the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and participants of the RAISE project in creating and overseeing various Business Management Training courses across 26 proposed training manuals within four sectors (Agriculture, Cottage Mini Small and Medium Enterprise - CMSME, Information and Communication Technology - ICT, Tourism and Hospitality). To achieve this goals IPTM will develop four modules during April to August 2024.
The overall objective of this assignment is to build the capacity of the project implementation unit (PIU) team, and participants of the RAISE project for the advancement of the enterprise and business development through development of courses and training in different occupational trades under four broad sectors sectors and conducting ToF on those modules. (1) Agriculture, (2) CMSME, (3) Tourism & Hospitality, and (4) ICT. Under this assignment total 260 participants (PKSF and PO’s staff) will be receiving the ToF.
Key Activities:
· Project inception meeting
· Project document, existing module collection, and desk review
· Develop a detailed methodology and work plan.
· Submission of the Inception Report
· Develop tools for skill gap data collection.
· Finalize data collection tools and prepare a field mobilization plan.
· Data and information collection through consultative meetings, FGDs, and KIIs
· Prepare a needs assessment report to develop training manuals and modules.
· Submission of the Training Needs Assessment Report
· Design and develop training manuals and modules for each of the trades and businesses under four broad sectors.
· Incorporate feedback and update training manuals.
· Submission of the training content outline for each course
· Develop detailed TOF contents, a session plan, facilitation guidelines, evaluation tools, etc. in English and Bangla.
· Submission of final copies of the mentioned 26 training manuals in Bangla (1st Activity Report)
· Organize a validation workshop for the pilot testing of manuals.
· Prepare a short report on the workshop findings.
· Incorporate feedback and finalize the training manuals and materials.
· Develop a Training of Facilitators (ToF) training schedule.
· Conduct TOF batches for the master trainers in four broad sectors.
· Submission of Training of Facilitators (ToF) Report (Final Activity Report).
· Develop a final report on the assignment.
· Submission of the final report and all manuals and contents.
