Narrative Description of the Project:
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC), a leading NGO, has been active in Bangladesh since 2013, focusing on displacement response. Its integrated program addresses the Rohingya influx through site management, shelter, and protection while also aiding host communities in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, with over 25 staff members working in camps and beyond. Under this project, IPTM involved an assignment on ‘Consultancy Service of Capacity Building’ and conducted one batch of capacity building training in 25 (twenty-five) DRC staff so that they could enhance their soft skills to perform better in the workplace. The objective of this assignment was to enhance the soft skills of DRC's staff for improved workplace performance. The service lasted two months (February to March 2021) and involved face-to-face interactions and group discussions. The consultancy package services included time management, MS Office, email writing, teamwork, communication, adaptability, innovation, decision making, listening, delegation, creativity, work ethic, leadership & problem-solving.
