Narrative Description of the Project:
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is working to improve the livelihoods of the refugees and host communities in the selected areas of Ukhiya and Ruhiggya Camps with other DRC sectoral interventions like protection, shelter, and site development supports. DRC aims to enhance the lives of both the host community and refugees in Ukhiya and Ruhiggya Camps. This training in tailoring is designed to empower women from the host community and the camps, enabling them to contribute to their families' income and build their self-assurance. The training's main objective is to assist dwellers level women in the host community and the camps in boosting their family's income or maintaining their families. IPTM conducted this assignment with covered for two months, from October to November 2021, and the training occurred in camp at Palongkhali and Rajapalog union under the Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar. The 40 participants received a 5-day long practical training to develop their tailoring abilities in 02 (two) batches.

- Inception meeting with DRC officials and submitted the inception report.
- Reviewed relevant documents of the project
- Prepared Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
- Conducted Training Needs Assessment (TNA)
- Collected TNA data from selected fields through TNA tools and methodologies
- Developed the training module on tailoring for 5 days (English and Bengali) addressing details methodology and market linkage
- Conducted training session on tailoring for (2 batches)
- Conducted pre based & post assessment
- Submitted A draft training report to DRC
- Submitted final report of the training of the assignment along with key findings and recommendations for future intervention as per the proposed reporting outline by DRC
