Narrative Description of the Project:
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) undertook this assignment, largely focusing on enhancing the livelihoods of refugees and host communities in Ukhiya and Ruhiggya Camps. Alongside DRC’s sectoral interventions like protection, shelter, and site development supports. The project aims to enhance the capacity of Rohingya women in lattice production through innovative approaches. To achieve these goals, IPTM organized a Training of Trainers (ToT) for 40 selected Rohingya men and women in 02 (two) batches, equipping them with safety knowledge for latticework in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar during October to November 2021.. These trained facilitators passed the knowledge to Rohingya CFW Lattice volunteers in Camp-7 and Camp-8, assisted by DRC community volunteers and staff.
