Narrative Description of the Project:
Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation (SME) Foundation and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Bangladesh aims to secure Labour Right & Gender Equality by Labour Right & Gender Equality Promotion of SME’s in Bangladesh. For this SME and FES intended to improve the knowledge gap of the SME entrepreneurs and workers by capacity building training. To equip the trainees with the necessary skills of leadership, management, and understanding of labour rights and gender equality perspectives while entering the Bangladesh and global job market or entrepreneurship, provide necessary materials, tools and techniques to the trainees for having good access to improved quality and standards of labour, orient trainees to the human rights, labour rights and gender equality literature (from the national and global context) IPTM developed two training module on “Leadership & Managerial Skills Development for SME’s and Labour Right & Gender Equality Promotion of SME’s”. IPTM also conducted validation workshops, work sharing, meetings etc. under this assignment where total 36 participants was attended. This assignment duration was from September to November 2021.

- Provided necessary materials, tools and techniques to the trainees for having good access to improved quality and standards of labour.
- Orient trainees to the human rights, labour rights and gender equality literature.
