Narrative Description of the Project:
IPTM conducted an assignment that was undertaken by the Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project-Additional Financing (UPHCSDP-AF), Project Management Unit (PMU), Local Government Division (LGD), Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives, with financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). UPHCSDP-AF's main goal is to ensure quality and equitable health care for all urban populations in Bangladesh by improving access to and utilization of health, population, and nutrition services.
And also, the main objective of the assignment was to conduct workshops on ‘community engagement and orientation workshops on PHC service delivery at the regional level’, a workshop on Clinical medical waste management, and a workshop on ESD+ package, referral, and QA’ for 45 Pas in selected 25 ULBS in Dhaka, Rangpur, and Cumilla. Under this assignment, a total of 320 participants participated in workshops in six batches.
Key Activities:
- The initial meeting with UPHCSDP-AF officials and submitted the inception report.
- Collected the documents/materials from the project to review.
- Prepared the workshop materials/support documents.
- Conducted workshops on ‘community engagement and orientation workshops on PHC service delivery at the regional level’, a workshop on Clinical medical waste management, and a workshop on ESD+ package, referral, and QA’ for 45 Pas in selected 25 ULBS in Dhaka, Rangpur, and Cumilla
- Submitted A draft workshop report.
- Submitted final report of the workshop.
