Training Program on ‘Construction Site Safety Rules and Regulations' in Indonesia and Malaysia under Local Government Engineering Department (LGED)

Narrative Description of the Project:

IPTM, conducted an impactful training program in Indonesia and Malaysia, focusing on "Construction Site Safety Rules and Regulations." This program was carried out for the Extension of Upazilla Complex Project-2nd Phase (EUCP-2) under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives. The training program aimed to enhance safety and regulatory compliance within construction sites. The training program focused on imparting essential knowledge about construction site safety rules and regulations, catering to the specific needs of the construction workforce involved in the EUCP-2 project. A total of 10 participants had the opportunity to enhance their understanding of safety protocols, thereby contributing to safer and more efficient construction practices in Bangladesh. This training program reflects projects aimed at promoting excellence and safety in the construction sector, aligning with the broader goals of sustainable development and infrastructure enhancement. The duration of this assignment was from November 2019 to February 2020.

  • Monitoring and evaluation of the program
  • Program report development and delivery
