Training Program Titled ‘Annual Performance Agreement (APA) related to Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority’ in Vietnam under Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority (DWASA)

Narrative Description of the Project:

The Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority (DWASA) is an agency under Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives, that agency the main mission is to provide safe and sufficient water for drinking, industrial and commercial use, to ensure sanitation and good hygienic condition through proper disposal of domestic and other sewerage, and to ensure efficient storm-water drainage system in Dhaka city. 

 

In 2017, IPTM awarded an assignment under this agency to implement an overseas training program in Hanoi city, Vietnam. The main objective of this assignment was to increase knowledge on methods of trend and measurement of performance indicator, targets measuring methods, the way of developing strategic objective, priorities, activities, setting performance, monitoring and evaluation performance system in the context of Vietnam. Under this assignment a total 5 government officials were received training and they applied that experience in Bangladesh.

  • Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
  • Identification of program objectives
  • Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
  • Health and travel insurance assistance
  • Pre-departure formalities 
  • Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
  • Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport
  • Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
  • Orientation to the course / program
  • Arrangement of classroom-based training session
  • Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
  • Sightseeing and cultural tours
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the program
  • Program report development and delivery
