Narrative Description of the Project:
The main goals of the overseas seminar program were to develop capacity building in different sectors, which is one of the most prioritized strategies to achieve the vision of the project. The Strengthening Monitoring & Evaluation Capabilities of the IMED Project (1st Revised) undertaken by Implementation Monitoring & Evaluation Division (IMED), Ministry of Planning. Under this project, IPTM organized an overseas seminar program on ‘Best Practices of Monitoring & Evaluation’ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for twenty (20) government officials from November to December 2017. The main objective of this assignment was to increase the capacity building of government officials on organizational structure systems, human capacity procedures, partnerships for planning processes, coordination and managing the M&E system, frameworks and logical frameworks, work plans and costs, communication, advocacy, and culture, and routine program monitoring & evaluation procedures in the context of Malaysia.

- Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
- Identification of program objectives
- Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
- Health and travel insurance assistance
- Pre-departure formalities
- Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
- Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport
- Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
- Orientation to the course / program
- Arrangement to attend the seminar program
- Arrangement of expert-led seminar session
- Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
- Sightseeing and cultural tours
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
