Narrative Description of the Project:
The International Mother Language Institute (IMLI), Ministry of Ministry of Education. The main aim of the organization is to develop and preserve our mother tongue, Bangla, inside the country and promote the language in foreign lands as well. To achieve the IMLI goals, IPTM organized a study tour program to enhance the capacity building of 05 (five) government officials on procedures for developing and preserving the mother tongue and other languages, language documentation procedures, multilingual education system, and digitalization of language system etc. in the context of Nepal from December 2017 to January 2018. The government official visited relevant language institutes in Nepal to share knowledge, and that experience and system were applied in Bangladesh to get better effectiveness to preserve our mother tongue and other languages.
Key Activities:
- Design, development and delivery of the briefing session
- Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
- Identification of program objectives
- Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
- Health and travel insurance assistance
- Pre-departure formalities
- Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
- Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport
- Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
- Orientation to the course / program
- Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
- Sightseeing and cultural tours
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
- Program report development and submitted at the clients
