Narrative Description of the Project:
Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs was facing some complexity in the institutionalization and monitoring system in Chittagong Hill Tracts areas. For being a new ministry, they did not have any well-established institutionalization and monitoring system in Chittagong Hill Tracts areas. As Vietnam have more hilly areas and better institutionalization and monitoring system than Bangladesh MoCHTA decided to learn and observe the relevant systems of from Vietnam and replicate those in the context of Bangladesh. In this issue IPTM organized an international study tour program on Strengthening Institutional and Monitoring Capabilities of Ethnic Minority Populace’ under the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs in Vietnam from March to May 2018 for 06 (six) government officials.

- Design, development and delivery of the briefing session
- Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
- Identification of program objectives
- Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
- Health and travel insurance assistance
- Pre-departure formalities
- Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
- Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport in Vietnam
- Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
- Orientation to the course / program in Vietnam
- Arrangement of expert-led lecture session in Hanoi and Ho chi Minh City, Vietnam
- Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
- Sightseeing and cultural tours
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
- Program report development and delivery
