Narrative Description of the Project:
The farmers of Bangladesh were doing irrigation using manual system and old technology. They were also depended on nature for irrigation. For these they used to get low production. Barisal Division Minor Irrigation Development Project (BDMIDP) under Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) was responsible for increasing agricultural production. For this Barisal Division Minor Irrigation Development Project (BDMIDP) was determined for removing those practicing systems and technologies, introduce new irrigation technologies, mechanization and enhancing relevant research in Bangladesh. In this case Vietnam and China was advance in this case than Bangladesh. To achieve the above-mentioned objectives IPTM organized this training cum study tour program in Vietnam and China. This program was held from March to June 2018 attending a total of 14 (fourteen) participants in 02 (two) batch.

- Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport in Vietnam and China
- Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
- Orientation to the course / program in Vietnam and China
- Arrangement of expert-led lecture session in Vietnam and China
- Arrangement of classroom-based training session in Vietnam and China
- Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
- Sightseeing and cultural tours
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
- Program report development and delivery
