Narrative Description of the Project:
The Press Information Department (PID) intended to increasing the capacity of government official on media management. Through this assignment the government officials learned about the media management, how to creating awareness through media, regulatory activities & media management technology in the context of Malaysia. To achieve this goal, they intended to adopt the lates media management systems related activities from other developing countries like Malaysia. As a support to achieve this goal IPTM organized this training program on ‘Media Management’ in Malaysia from June to July 2018. A total of 05 (five) government officials attended this program under Press Information Department (PID), Ministry of Information.
Key Activities:
- Design, development and delivery of the briefing session
- Collection of Government Order (G.O.) and Note Verbal
- Identification of program objectives
- Assistance for Passport renewal or issue, visa processing and Air-ticket
- Health and travel insurance assistance
- Pre-departure formalities
- Airport Coordination and accommodation arrangement
- Arranged Welfare guide & translator and land surface transport in Malaysia
- Arranged refreshment, working lunch with welcome and closing dinner
- Orientation to the course / program in Malaysia
- Arrangement of classroom-based training session in Malaysia
- Arrangement of the appointments, meetings and field visit with relevant officials
- Sightseeing and cultural tours
- Monitoring and evaluation of the program
- Program report development and delivery
